NCT ID NCT07552805

First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a wearable patch called MultiSense that tracks vital signs for five days after major gastrointestinal surgery. High-risk patients who use the patch may be able to go home earlier while still being monitored, potentially reducing hospital stays and healthcare costs. The trial will compare their recovery and complication rates to those receiving standard hospital care.
