Summary
This pilot study at Mayo Clinic tests whether combining CT and MRI scans can better predict which patients with severe mitral regurgitation will develop heart weakness after valve repair surgery. Researchers will enroll 30 adults to see if a larger study is possible. The goal is to improve risk assessment and prevent long-term heart damage.
