New therapy combo may help vertigo sufferers regain balance
NCT ID NCT07576088
First seen May 14, 2026 ยท Last updated May 14, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a combination of patient education, a head-positioning maneuver (Epley maneuver), and balance exercises can improve balance, reduce dizziness, and lessen fear of falling in people with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). About 46 adults with BPPV will be split into two groups: one gets the combined therapy, the other gets only the standard maneuver. The goal is to see if the extra exercises lead to better quality of life and fewer falls.
