First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at how giving rescue breaths during child CPR affects a person's ability to do mental math, like calculating medicine doses. 38 trained medical professionals took part in a 30-minute session where they added numbers while performing ventilations. The goal was to understand how physical tasks impact thinking, not to treat any disease.
