First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether a mulberry leaf extract (Reducose®) could help 50 overweight adults with early metabolic risk lose more weight while taking the diabetes drug metformin. Participants took either the supplement or a placebo for 12 weeks, and researchers measured changes in weight, waist size, blood sugar, and cholesterol. The goal was to see if adding this natural supplement to standard care could improve metabolic health.
