Ancient mud therapy tested for modern hand pain
NCT ID NCT07417722
Summary
This study tested if adding a special mud therapy to standard treatment helps people with carpal tunnel syndrome. 70 adults with mild-to-moderate symptoms were split into two groups. One group received a wrist splint and home exercises, while the other also received mud therapy sessions. Researchers measured pain, hand function, and nerve changes to see if the mud treatment provided extra relief.
