Researchers investigate what makes baby tooth treatments last

NCT ID NCT07312539

Summary

This study looked back at children who received a specific nerve treatment (MTA pulpotomy) for their baby molars to see how well the treatment held up after two years. Researchers examined 96 children to identify what factors might lead to treatment failure, including tooth position and filling quality. The goal was to understand which clinical and restoration factors influence long-term success of this common pediatric dental procedure.
