New drug takes on advanced liver cancer in first human trial

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new drug called MT-303 in about 70 adults with advanced liver cancer that has spread or cannot be removed. The drug targets a protein (GPC3) found on these cancer cells. The main goals are to check safety, find the best dose, and see if it works when given alone or with other cancer medicines.
