New MS pill tested as add-on therapy in major trial
NCT ID NCT06083753
Summary
This study tested whether adding an oral medication called PIPE-307 to existing multiple sclerosis treatments could help control the disease. About 182 adults with relapsing-remitting MS took either one of two doses of PIPE-307 or a placebo pill for about 30 weeks. Researchers measured safety, vision changes, walking ability, and brain scan results to see if the drug helped reduce MS activity.
