New hope for young MS patients: Head-to-Head drug trial launches

Summary
This study aims to see if a newer oral medication called ozanimod works as well as or better than an existing drug, fingolimod, for controlling multiple sclerosis in children and adolescents. About 194 young people with relapsing-remitting MS will take one of the two daily pills to compare how well they prevent flare-ups and manage the disease. The main goal is to see which treatment better reduces the yearly rate of MS attacks while monitoring safety and side effects.
