New study aims to spare pregnant women from radiation during pelvic measurements

NCT ID NCT06485323

First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026

Summary

This study is testing whether MRI can be used instead of CT scans to measure the pelvis in pregnant women who have had a previous C-section. The goal is to avoid exposing the mother and baby to radiation from CT. About 95 women will be enrolled, and researchers will compare the accuracy of the two methods and ask participants which exam they found more comfortable.
