New MRI method could spot jaw bone injury early in cancer survivors

Summary
This study aims to see if a special MRI scan can measure damage to the jaw bone and soft tissues caused by radiation therapy for head and neck cancer. Researchers will follow 300 adults receiving radiation to track how well the MRI detects injury over time. The goal is to improve early detection and monitoring of this serious side effect.
