New brain scans aim to unlock secrets of premature baby bleeds
NCT ID NCT07412886
Summary
This study aims to use advanced MRI scans to better understand brain injury in premature babies who suffer severe bleeding in the brain. It will scan 30 babies to see if new imaging techniques can show how a surgical washout procedure works and improve predictions of a child's future development needs. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better treatments and care plans for these vulnerable infants.
