Could an MRI scan predict your spinal anesthesia?

NCT ID NCT07333703

Summary

This study looked at whether the amount of spinal fluid in a person's lower back, as seen on an MRI scan, affects how spinal anesthesia works. Researchers studied 40 adults who had recent back MRIs and then received spinal anesthesia for surgery. They measured the spinal fluid volume from the MRI images and checked how it related to the anesthesia's strength and how long it lasted.
