Can a simple MRI position improve cancer radiation?

NCT ID NCT05155423

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether doing MRI scans in the same position used for radiation treatment helps doctors plan more accurate therapy for spinal tumors. About 21 adults with cancer that has spread to the spine will have two MRI scans—one with a special immobilization device and one without. The goal is to find the best way to use MRI for spinal stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT).
