New radiation technique aims for pinpoint accuracy against pelvic cancer spread

NCT ID NCT07083648

Summary

This study is testing whether a new, two-step radiation method is practical and effective for treating cancer that has spread to pelvic lymph nodes. The method first uses a special MRI scanner to create a very detailed plan, then delivers the radiation using a standard machine. The goal is to target the cancer more precisely while better protecting nearby healthy organs like the bowel and bladder.
