Precision radiation trial aims to zap abdominal tumors more accurately
NCT ID NCT06604533
Summary
This study is testing whether using real-time MRI scans to guide radiation therapy can better control cancer that has spread to the abdomen. It will compare this advanced technique to standard radiation in 30 patients with a limited number of tumors. The main goal is to see if the MRI-guided approach keeps tumors from growing for longer and improves survival with fewer side effects.
