New heart procedure tested inside MRI scanner
NCT ID NCT05904548
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device designed to treat a common heart rhythm problem called type I atrial flutter. Doctors will use a special catheter guided by an MRI machine to deliver targeted heat energy to the heart tissue causing the flutter. The main goals are to see if this procedure is safe and if it successfully blocks the abnormal electrical signals for at least 90 days.
