New MRI dye tested against standard for clearer kidney scans

NCT ID NCT07040865

Summary

This study aims to see if a newer MRI contrast agent (gadopiclenol) works as well as the current standard agent (gadobutrol) for getting clear pictures of the kidneys and adrenal glands. About 104 adults with incidental findings on these organs will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two agents during a single 60-minute MRI scan. The main goal is to compare how well each agent highlights the tissue in the images.
