First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at how using e-cigarettes (with or without nicotine) and tobacco cigarettes affects blood vessel function and inflammation. Researchers used MRI scans and blood tests to measure changes in 55 current smokers and vapers before and after a single use. The results were compared to a group of non-smokers to understand the immediate effects of these products on the body.
