High-Tech radiation trial aims to shrink inoperable colon tumors

NCT ID NCT06244537

Summary

This study is testing whether a new, precise radiation technique called MR-Linac can help people with advanced colon cancer that cannot be removed by surgery right away. The goal is to see if this radiation, combined with chemotherapy, can shrink the tumor enough so that surgery becomes possible. Researchers will track if the treatment is safe, if patients can complete it, and if it successfully removes the cancer.
