Scientists track mpox virus to stop outbreak spread

NCT ID NCT07267390

Summary

This study aims to better understand mpox (monkeypox) by tracking two main things. First, it follows people with confirmed mpox to see how long the virus stays detectable in their body. Second, it tracks close contacts of infected people to see how often the virus spreads. The results will help health officials decide how long people should isolate and improve strategies to control outbreaks.
