Study probes deadly double threat: blood cancers and COVID-19
NCT ID NCT04385160
Summary
This study aimed to understand how COVID-19 affects people with rare blood cancers called Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs). Researchers followed 552 patients with both MPN and COVID-19 to see what factors led to worse outcomes, like blood clots or death. The goal was to gather information to help doctors better care for these high-risk patients in the future.
