Summary

This early-stage study tests a new handheld imaging device that can track stem cells after they are injected into the knee. Ten people with mild-to-moderate knee osteoarthritis will receive a single injection of labeled stem cells, and the device will take pictures over 30 days to see how long the cells stay in the joint. The goal is to learn if this tool can help doctors better understand and improve stem cell treatments for arthritis.
