First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tested whether imagining movements or watching exercise videos could improve pelvic floor muscle strength in young women without symptoms. 45 women participated and researchers measured muscle strength, pain sensitivity, and movement control. The goal was to see if these mental techniques, often used for other muscles, could also help the pelvic floor.
