New mouthwash challenges gold standard for gum health

Summary
This study is comparing a newer mouthwash to a standard one for treating gingivitis, a common gum inflammation. After a professional cleaning, 40 adults will use one of the two mouthwashes for two weeks. Researchers will check which one is better at reducing gum inflammation and plaque over six months, while also looking for side effects like tooth staining.
