Could your mouthwash fight a hidden parasite?
NCT ID NCT07210814
Summary
This small pilot study aims to see if a common antiseptic mouthwash can reduce the amount of a specific parasite in the mouth. Researchers will enroll 40 healthy volunteers who already have the parasite. Participants will use the mouthwash twice daily for a week, and scientists will measure parasite levels before and after to see if they change.
