Herbal mouthwash challenge: can it beat the standard without the stains?

NCT ID NCT07270952

Summary

This study tested whether a new herbal mouthwash and gel (StellaLife) could control plaque and gum inflammation as effectively as the standard chlorhexidine rinse, which can stain teeth and alter taste. Thirty-four healthy volunteers used each product for two weeks without brushing their teeth to compare results. Researchers measured gum health and plaque to see if the herbal option could be a good alternative with fewer side effects.
