Gum disease study tests enhanced mouthwash formula
NCT ID NCT07366398
Summary
This study tested whether adding hyaluronic acid to a standard chlorhexidine mouthwash improves results for people with gingivitis (gum inflammation). Sixteen patients received a professional dental cleaning and were then randomly assigned to use one of the two mouthwash combinations for a week. Researchers measured gum bleeding, plaque, and patient satisfaction to see if the combined formula worked better.
