Could your mouthwash change your blood sugar?
NCT ID NCT07172009
Summary
This study is exploring whether using a common antibacterial mouthwash might affect how the body handles sugar after a meal. Researchers will have healthy adults eat bread and measure their blood sugar, comparing results after using either the mouthwash or a placebo rinse. The goal is to understand if killing mouth bacteria influences digestion and blood sugar response.
