Clear mouth guard tested for mysterious burning pain
NCT ID NCT07344909
Summary
This study is testing if a clear, removable dental splint can help reduce the pain and dryness caused by Burning Mouth Syndrome. Twelve participants who have already found some relief with the splint will wear it for one week and go without it for another week in a random order. Researchers will measure their pain levels and collect saliva samples to see if the splint makes a difference.
