Scientists watch brain rewire during skill learning

NCT ID NCT07455461

First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at how the brain's movement center changes when healthy adults learn a new finger task from scratch. Forty right-handed volunteers will practice a 3D cursor task over three sessions while researchers use mild brain stimulation to measure brain activity. The goal is to understand the brain's learning process, not to treat any disease.
