Mind over back pain: imagining exercise may boost rehab results

Summary
This study tests whether adding motor imagery—mentally practicing movements without actually doing them—to a standard 3-week rehab program helps people with chronic low back pain improve their movement control and quality of life. About 72 adults with pain lasting over 6 months will take part. The goal is to reduce fear of movement, pain, and disability.
