First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding supervised motor control exercises to standard care helps people who had lumbar decompression surgery. 51 adults who were 3 months past surgery took part. One group did standard stretching and strengthening, while the other group also did exercises to improve control of back movements. The goal was to see if these extra exercises reduce pain, disability, and fear of moving, and improve function and body awareness.
