Moms and daughters team up to fight inactivity
NCT ID NCT07088406
Summary
This study is testing a 10-week program called 'Conmigo' that brings Latina mothers and their 8-11 year old daughters together to increase the girls' physical activity. The program involves weekly group sessions at their school, focusing on exercise, family communication, and supportive parenting. Researchers want to see if this approach helps girls stay more active over time compared to a similar program focused on healthy eating instead.
