Summary

This study looked at whether doing yoga together helps mothers and their preterm babies bond better and reduces the mother's stress, anxiety, and feelings that her baby is fragile. Sixty mothers and their preterm infants (born before 37 weeks) who had been home for 8-16 weeks took part. The yoga group showed improvements in maternal attachment and lower stress compared to those who did not do yoga.
