NCT ID NCT04385290
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding two targeted drugs, midostaurin and gemtuzumab ozogamicin, to standard chemotherapy can improve outcomes for adults newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who have certain genetic changes. The trial has two phases: first to find the safest dose, then to see if the combination helps people live longer without the cancer returning. About 214 participants will take part.
