First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 07, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study aims to find out if patching a child's stronger eye for 2 hours daily works better when done in the morning or the evening to improve vision in the weaker 'lazy eye'. It will involve about 100 children aged 4-8 years with this condition, following them for 6 months. The goal is to see if one time of day leads to greater vision improvement, which could help make treatment more effective and easier for families.
