First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether watching a video that highlights how exercise improves your mood can boost motivation to work out, compared to a video focused on fitness benefits. Researchers recruited 48 stressed college students and measured their exercise motivation and how often they actually exercised. The goal was to find better ways to encourage regular physical activity.
