Dental implant showdown: which zirconia lasts longer?
NCT ID NCT01974362
First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at two types of zirconia dental implants used for full-mouth restorations: one made from a single block of zirconia and another made from zirconia covered with a ceramic layer. The goal is to see which type has fewer problems like chipping or breaking over at least one year. About 90 adults who need full-mouth implants will take part, and researchers will track any complications that require a dental visit.
