First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving a special antibody (edrecolomab) after surgery helps people with stage II colon cancer live longer. About 2,100 patients took part, some getting the antibody and some just being watched. The goal was to see if the antibody could kill any leftover cancer cells and prevent the cancer from returning.
