Summary

This study is testing if an oral medication called tecovirimat helps people with monkeypox who are well enough to stay home. It will see if the drug helps skin lesions heal faster and is safe to use. The trial also aims to learn if large studies for monkeypox treatments can be successfully run in Canada.
