Scientists probe hidden inflammation in Kids' weak teeth
NCT ID NCT07008599
Summary
This study aimed to understand the inflammation inside teeth affected by a common enamel defect called Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH). Researchers compared fluid samples from the dental pulp of 85 children's molars, some with MIH and some without, to measure different inflammation markers. The goal was to learn more about how this condition affects the inner tooth to help improve future diagnosis and treatment.
