Scientists re-engineer Patients' own immune cells to fight advanced gynecologic cancers
NCT ID NCT05098171
Summary
This early-phase study is testing a new type of cell therapy called GC201 TIL for patients with advanced gynecologic tumors who have run out of standard treatment options. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells from a tumor sample, genetically modify them in the lab to better fight cancer, grow large numbers of them, and then infuse them back into the patient. The main goals are to see if this treatment is safe and if it can shrink tumors or control cancer growth.
