Doctors test custom stent to fix deadly aortic bulges

Summary
This study is testing the safety and effectiveness of a custom-modified stent graft for treating dangerous bulges in the main artery of the chest and abdomen. It will enroll about 80 high-risk patients who are not good candidates for traditional open surgery. The goal is to see if this less invasive procedure is as safe and effective as the standard, more invasive operation.
