Summary

This study tested a new way to repair damaged ankle cartilage. Surgeons used a collagen material during a microfracture procedure to help the cartilage heal better. The trial included 60 patients aged 15 and older with ankle cartilage defects. The goal was to see if the collagen method improved pain and satisfaction compared to the standard microfracture alone.
