First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests a new surgical method for removing part of the upper jaw while keeping the sinus membrane intact. The goal is to see if this helps new bone grow naturally in the gap and lowers risks like holes between the mouth and nose. The study involves 18 people with jaw tumors who are not good candidates for complex reconstruction. Participants will be followed with CT scans and tests of chewing, swallowing, and speech for up to a year.
