This study looked for risk factors that can be changed to prevent non-traumatic subconjunctival hemorrhage, a harmless red patch on the white of the eye that happens without injury. Researchers studied 67 adults who visited an eye clinic. They checked things like coughing, sneezing, and blood thinner use to see what might cause the bleeding.
