Game on for health: can a phone app help kids cope with kidney disease?

NCT ID NCT07162220

Summary

This study tested whether a specially designed mobile game could help children with chronic kidney failure manage their condition better. 68 children, aged 11 to 14, were split into two groups: one used the educational game, and the other did not. Researchers measured changes in the children's knowledge, health beliefs, and attitudes toward their illness to see if the game made a difference.
