Can your smartphone help you quit smoking? new study aims to find out

NCT ID NCT07375459

Summary

This is a small pilot study to see if a brief, mobile phone-based support program is a practical and acceptable way to help people in Singapore quit smoking. About 100 adult smokers will be randomly assigned to either try the mobile-assisted program or be in a control group. Researchers will track participants for 6 months to see how many people join, stay in the study, and successfully quit smoking.
